CLF Literati City Editions

Bringing Literati to Your City

Through the CLF Literati City Editions, we envision a series of distinctive, one-day literary festivals in different cities, each carrying the spirit, ethos, and identity of CLF Literati while reflecting the unique cultural character of its host city.

Whether you are a literary or cultural organisation, educational institution, corporate house, event management company, publishing house, foundation or an individual passionate about literature and the arts, we welcome you to join hands with us.

Together, we can create a platform that brings literature closer to people and makes meaningful cultural experiences accessible to wider communities.

What Will a CLF Literati City Edition Offer?

Each city edition will be curated around its own identity and audience, with a thoughtfully designed programme that may include:

• Author Conversations & Book Readings: Engaging interactions with acclaimed authors and emerging literary voices.
• Thought-provoking Discussions: Conversations around contemporary issues, society, culture, history, and ideas.
• Poetry & Storytelling: Celebrating the power of words through poetry, spoken word, and storytelling.
• Cinema, Art & Culture: Exploring the intersections of literature with films, music, theatre, and the visual arts.
• Local Voices & Heritage: Providing a platform to local writers, artists, thinkers, and cultural traditions.
• Youth Engagement: Inspiring young readers and emerging talent through interactive sessions and creative activities.

Become Our City Partner

We are looking for enthusiastic partners who share our vision of making literature and culture an integral part of the city's public life.

As a CLF Literati City Partner, you can collaborate with Chandigarh Literary Society to:

• Conceptualise and organise a CLF Literati edition in your city.
• Mobilise local institutions, literary communities, sponsors, and cultural stakeholders.
• Identify suitable venues and facilitate local event arrangements.
• Connect regional talent and audiences with nationally and internationally recognised literary voices.
• Build a distinctive cultural event that can become an annual feature on your city's calendar.

Chandigarh Literary Society will bring its literary festival experience, curatorial guidance, brand association, and programme development support to the collaboration, working closely with the city partner to shape each edition.

Let's Take Literature Places!

We believe that every city has stories worth telling, voices worth hearing, and ideas worth celebrating.

Our ambition is to build a growing network of literary celebrations across India, creating opportunities for cities to connect through literature, culture, creativity, and meaningful dialogue.

One city at a time. One day of extraordinary conversations. Countless stories waiting to be told.
